The directory
Penguinly is free to browse and free to submit a listing to. Submitted listings, claims, and "for sale" posts are reviewed before they go public — we can approve, reject, or remove any of them at our discretion, including after publication if something turns out to be inaccurate or against these terms.
Your content
You keep ownership of anything you submit (listings, reviews, claim evidence, etc.), but by submitting it you give us permission to display it on the site. You're responsible for making sure what you submit is accurate and that you're not impersonating a business you don't own or represent. Fake reviews, fraudulent ownership claims, and spam listings will be removed, and repeat abuse may get your account blocked.
Accuracy
Business information on Penguinly is submitted by users and business owners, not verified by us beyond a manual review. We do our best to keep listings accurate but can't guarantee it — always confirm details like hours or pricing directly with the business.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is." We're not liable for losses arising from information on the site being outdated, inaccurate, or from the site being unavailable.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the update. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
